A priority will be identifying and cultivating national corporate and foundation prospects. REQUIREMENTS
A Bachelor’s degree is required and an advanced degree is preferred.
At least ten (10)years of progressively more responsible fund-raising experience with excellent knowledge of foundation involved in education and healthcare.
Demonstrated track record of raising grant funding from top foundations, preferably those national in scope.
Integrity in every aspect of his/her efforts. This translates to the way he/she conducts business with the way he/she interacts with all colleagues.
A tremendous work ethic and great interpersonal skills.
Strong communicational skills: written, oral, and listening.
String planning and organizational skills, including ability to manage multifaceted responsibilities in a complex and fast paced environment.
Strong team player with a track record of working will with senior management, Trustees, volunteers, peers and donors, including an understanding of and appreciation for the needs of families with chronically ill children.
An understanding of the corporate and foundation worlds and special events.
A willingness to spend considerable time out of the office meeting with major gift prospects.
Must be a self-starter, creative and energetic; a person of impeccable integrity.
