JOB SUMMARY: The Director is responsible for strategy development, planning, and administrative (clinical, financial and operational) management of assigned areas including department(s), function(s) and/or program(s) throughout the continuum of care at Phoenix Children's Hospital. This position leads the process of establishing and maintaining standards to ensure excellence of assigned areas within a family-centered care model. Working successfully within a matrix-based management model, the Director ensures that systems and processes within assigned scope are effective. This position serves as the primary liaison to designated Medical Director(s) working together to ensure a collaborative work environment and to facilitate appropriate involvement in departmental planning and operations. The successful candidate demonstrates competencies during the orientation process. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 1. Bachelors? degree required. 2. Masters degree preferred 3. Minimum of five years of relevant management experience required. 4. Pediatric clinical and management experience strongly preferred. 5. Current licensure and/or certification in designated health care discipline required.
