Baker Tanks, an established and growing industrial/environmental equipment service company with 50 branch locations nationwide, is seeking a professional, detail oriented, team player for our corporate office in Seal Beach.

This position will be responsible for the direct supervision of D.O.T. compliance, logistics, transportation and reporting to support our corporate headquarters and branch locations. Maintain regulatory compliance, reporting and administration as it pertains to D.O.T. regulations, vehicle licensing, permitting and contractual requirements, along with the researching of current and future regulatory requirements. Additionally, this position will be responsible for developing, maintaining and tracking of the transportation and distribution of new and existing assets. Perform cost analysis, operational reports, maintaining positive business relationships with suppliers, supplier negotiations, collecting statistical data and improving the D.O.T. compliance, logistics and transportation processes.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of D.O.T. compliance, logistics and transportation experience and a Bachelor’s in business or other related work experience. Candidate must possess excellent customer service skills, attention to detail and the ability to develop alternative methods to ensure an efficient logistics operation. This position requires interaction with various levels of management and suppliers, flexibility to manage multiple priorities, excellent communication skills and PC knowledge (Excel, Word, etc.)
