These Construction Project Managers are needed to assist with oversight and design management of large public utility projects. Construction Project Manager Job Description:
Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates, and reports the project management activities of a specific project team with regard to new school facilitiesResponsible for a project ranging in construction value from $2M to $60MResponsible for design, construction and post construction phase activities. Responsible to manage staff and contractor to insure the project scope as awarded is built in full conformance with the plans, specs, schedule and cost limitsPerform day-to-day contract administration including assisting Local District Project Manager/Sr. Project Manager in bid analysis, award, coordinating pre-construction conferences, review of contractor’s initial construction schedule, schedule of values, submittals, and generally respond to contractor’s questions regarding contract administrationPerform other CM management functions as assigned by the Director/LDPM/Sr.PMPlans, organizes, directs, coordinates and reviews project management activities with regards to construction of local bond measures, state matching funds, deferred maintenance, new construction and modernization projectsResponsible for multi-site trade or multi-trade Contracts exceeding $2M working in the field.Supervise, coordinate and direct the CM staffPacifica Services, Inc. was founded in 1979 and since then we have become a major force in providing the highest services and solutions for private developers and public agencies. REQUIREMENTSConstruction Project Manager Job Requirements:
Minimum 5 years of experience in project/construction management of commercial and/or public facilities, preferably including educational facility constructionStrongly prefer BS or BA in architecture, engineering, urban planning, construction management or a closely related field. Certified Construction Manager (CCM), Professional Engineer (P.E.) or Architect license/certification preferred.Ability to manage more than one project simultaneously and must be multi-task oriented.Must have successfully completed the required OSHA Occupational Safety and Health Training Course in Construction Safety & Health or must complete within 30 days of hire date.Benefits Package: We understand that the basis of any great company is great people.
