Collections Supervisor

Our client, provides payment solutions for business and consumers around the world. They are seeking a Collections Supervisor to monitor performance and productivity of assigned staff to assure achievement of department goals and objectives. Will also ensure compliance with regulations of Fair Debt Collections and Practices Act as well as the Fair Credit Reporting Act. This individual will evaluate assigned Collectors through phone monitoring, review of Coordinator generated Collector reviews, performance reviews and system generated collector activity reports to ensure adherence to department performance and productivity standards.
REQUIREMENTS
Minimum 3 years collections or related industry experience; thorough understanding of applicable state and federal collection laws.
Proven leadership abilities; strong interpersonal skills; excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented; demonstrated analytical skills and ability to make quick decisions. Demonstrates high level of skill in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
High School required. Bachelors in Business Administration or related degree preferred.
Preferred: At least 2 plus years in a management role. Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint.
