About The Position We currently have an opportunity available for shift managers in Phoenix, AZ. This person will be responsible for daily operations of a large-scale technical support team of up to 300 agents in our Dell Computers Technical Support Division. Job Summary: - Responsible for ensuring that the shift is productive and meeting performance objectives. - Monitors the shift through effective queue management. - Supervises employees, and participates in selection, orientation, counseling and evaluation of staff. - In addition, participates in quality improvement processes in the department. - Performs regular coaching, mentoring, and performance monitoring with direct reports. Goal and objective planning. - Organizes schedules and logistics, engages in communication with client and management.
