Job Description:
Position Purpose


Oversees regional warehouse operations and conducts training as necessary.



Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities


Maintains safe and productive operations in branch warehouses within specified region.


Reviews and upholds Forklift Safety and Training.


Monitors and trains Shipping and Receiving Associates.


Reviews Hazardous Materials training and policies.


Helps with racking needs and installation.


Helps with driver tests and certification.



Nature and Scope


Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.


Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving
problems.



Environmental Job Requirements

The job has intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking,
standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward.
Typically in a comfortable environment but with regular exposure to factors such as temperature extremes,
moving machinery, loud noise, and fumes.





Minimum Qualifications


Must be eighteen years of age or older


Must pass the Drug Test


Must pass the Background Check


Must pass pre-employment tests if applicable


Education Required - The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diplomas and/or GED.


Years of Relevant Work Experience –5




Physical Job Requirements - Most all of the time is spent sitting in the same position or standing/walking or there is some requirement to lift or handle material or equipment of moderate weight (8-20 pounds).



Preferred Qualifications

Extensive knowledge of warehouse inventory processes



Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Competencies

Experience in a logistics environment
