REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:
Excellent organizational skills
Shall demonstrate initiative and creativity and shall be detail oriented, and possess excellent written, spoken language and presentation skills.
Must have strong leadership and customer service skills.
Must have retail experience.
Cultivating volunteers and donors experience preferred.
Must demonstrate professionalism in cultivating donors and volunteers.
Computer literacy and proficiency required.
A B.A. or B.S. degree in related discipline is preferred.
Must be able to lift 50lbs


Duties:


Develop policies & procedures for boutique.
Develop & implement marketing initiatives to increase donations and sales; develop Thrift & Boutique newsletter and other marketing pieces as requested.
Cultivate relationships with area churches, schools and other potential volunteer referral agencies in cooperation with Volunteer Coordinator.
Oversee individual and group volunteers working in boutique.
Handle daily retail activities including checking out customers as needed, processing donated items and providing overall excellent customer service for every guest in the boutique.
Complete daily deposits and provide weekly financial reports to the Director of Philanthropic Development & Public Relations;
Ensure boutique is always clean and merchandised;
Meet with the Director of Philanthropic Development & Public Relations regularly to report on activities and progress of goals and objectives; provide written reports to the Director upon request.


Candidates must pass a drug screen and a criminal background check prior to the first day of employment. Also, must be able to obtain a Class I fingerprint clearance card.
