Audiovisual Event / Account Manager
Image Technical Services, a leader in the exciting field of event staging and creative media production, is seeking highly skilled Event/Account Managers with extensive knowledge in the management and design of audio, video, lighting and creative elements as they relate to the event staging industry. Successful candidates will have five or more years of direct, hands-on experience in this field and be passionate about what they do.Responsibilities (include, but are not limited to):
Managing staff, operations, scheduling and quality control to ensure overall efficiency of each event is achieved.
Providing hands-on management of event staging services as it relates to pre-event, event and post-event staging including experience in calling live events.
Providing support and expertise in the areas of budget management, crew management (including union and freelance), show preparation, and venue logistics in the support of show design and production, lighting, audio, multi-media systems, event management, projection systems, presentation software, security and most importantly, customer service. Also includes the areas of travel, vendor and union negotiations, transportation, etc.
Assisting the Sales Department on technical design, event coordination, and labor requirements to ensure a profitable event with value added benefits for our clients.
Evaluating equipment orders for possible substitutions and securing / approving all cross-rentals and freelance labor.
All other duties assigned by management of which the employee is capable of performing. Position requires knowledge of all Audiovisual staging aspects (these include, but are not limited to):
Crew management
Show preparation
Venue logistics
Power
Show design
Lighting
Audio
Multi-camera systems
Event engineering
LCD & DLP projection systems
Computers
Presentation software
Additional skills required include, but are not limited to:
Strong organizational abilities
Exceptional written and oral communication and presentation skills, with great attention to detail
Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications
Dynamic, customer-focused personality with an emphasis on good listening skills and rapport building
Ability and willingness to travel as needed
