Overall Job Function: Responsible for maximizing profitability in the store. Leads, manages, coordinates and organizes the business according to H&M’s shared values, standards, policies and procedures.Job Responsibility:Business Responsibility
Ensures that the store maximizes sales opportunities through commerciality focus and outstanding customer service.
Monitors and establishes together with the store manager sales goals, sales plans and sales budgets. Follows up to optimize profit.
Oversees that the garment presentation meets H&M high standards and provides proper feedback regarding this presentation.
Ensures that the garment care and visual standards meet H&M expectations and follows up to ensure that campaigns and activities are done in a timely manner.
Assists the store manager in making sure that the store’s allocation is correct and that the garments are presented on the sales floor to maximize sales opportunities.
Ensures that the store is following H&M policies and procedures and follows up closely on audit results.
Supervises plans, budgets and cost follow ups according to company goals.
Is actively involved in recruiting, knows staff levesl and works with the function plan when hiring and conducts job offers for the store.
Maintains focus upon staff development through coaching and feedback to the department managers, visuals and cash office responsibles .
Works according to H&M policies, procedures and routines and ensures staff does as well.
Ensures that appropriate loss prevention and shrinkage decisions are being made.Managerial Responsibility
Sets goals with the store manager and gives direction to each department within the store to maximize profitability.
Directs the overall work of the departments by using business knowledge and maximizing sales opportunities.
Works as a symbolic leader and makes sure that our shared values are being used.
Ensures that each Department Manager, Visual and COR has the right knowledge and that they work in line with the company strategy.
Leads, coordinates and organizes the work of the Managers, Visuals and COR.
Provides constant feedback, evaluations and performance reviews to the staff.
Focuses upon teamwork and assists the store manager actively to establish a professional management team and an efficient staff.
Ensures that the Store Manager, Department Managers, Visuals and CORs always have the necessary information to make the right business decisions.
Responsible for corrective actions, performance management and terminations.
Sets and adjusts pay rates and hours for all staff.

REQUIREMENTS
Required
2-3 years prior management experience, preferably a minimum of 1 year within H&M
Proven leadership ability through our shared values
Proven experience to lead, develop and motivate a group of people
Proven exceptional customer service skills and interpersonal skills
A strong fashion consciousness and the knowledge to implement H&M display guidelines in a creative and commercial way
Must be able to work a flexible work schedule since the associate manager will be working mostly opposite shifts from the store manager
Proven success in other store duties or projects (ex. Store HR, visual, COR, expansion support, etc.)Recommended
Preferably is not on any level of corrective action
Preferably the candidate will have an average score on the performance review of 4 but not lower than a 3
Preferably has been a successful management coachJob Status: Exempt
