Garden Ridge is currently seeking an Assistant Manager in Jacksonville. This is a customer obsessed fashion merchandising position that is passionate about sales and demonstrates a good business sense. The Assistant Manager assists the General Manager and Assistant General Manager in the overall management of store merchandising. He/she provides leadership to the Sales Associates in assigned sales floor departments.

The Assistant Manager must execute company programs, policies and procedures required to manage a Garden Ridge store. Assists in maximizing store sales and profit by ensuring a customer oriented well-trained work force that is visible and responsive to the needs of the customer.
REQUIREMENTS
High School education or equivalent required with 3 years experience in retail merchandising operations from prior positions with Garden Ridge or other retail organization in order to effectively and efficiently assist with managing store operations and merchandising while achieving the company’s overall goals. Communication skills are imperative to effectively interact with management, co-workers and customers. Must be able to train and manage store associates in a manner that will foster a work environment that will encourage and promote outstanding customer service. Must demonstrate outstanding interpersonal skills to resolve any customer complaints or issues that will promote the service standards in accordance with company philosophy.
