Assistant Manager

Responsibilities include: Assisting in management with hands on day-to-day operations by managing others, counting inventory and developing the restaurant team.

Analyze sales, labor and inventory on a continual basis and taking corrective measures to meet or achieve daily or weekly sales and growth targets.

Ensure the facility and equipment is maintained to company standards on a day-to-day basis.

Supervise others efficiently and coordinate their work.

Train new and existing crew members and assist with crew performance evaluations.

Work with the management team with the daily operations by scheduling, ordering food and supplies, and helping develop the restaurant team.

Ensure OSHA, local health and safety codes and company safety and security policies are followed.

Assist with P&L management by following cash control/security procedures, managing labor, reviewing financial reports, and taking appropriate action to address any deficiencies.

Assist store manager in recruiting, interviewing and hiring quality team members.

Team player and able to motivate others.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED preferred with 1-2 years experience in either a food service environment including P&L responsibility.

Basic Math and accounting skills.

Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills.

Good oral/written communication skills.

Strong analytical/decision making skills.

Basic computer literacy.
