The Ideal candidate will have a record of personal achievement and accomplishments in the mortgage industry as an Account Executive/ASM. This will include a record of consistently putting numbers up and knowing how to do it effectively. Candidate must have the know how to mentor, coach, and assist AE’s on marketing, prospecting, selecting the right clients, and business planning.
Duties and Responsibilities:
We are seeking a highly motivated, energetic, professional Area Sales Manager to build and manage an extremely entrepreneurial and professional wholesale team.
Our Sales Managers are knowledgeable mentors and coaches; they accomplish the company's sales objectives through dynamic leadership, training and setting the example through their own experience and production.
Sales Managers have the overall responsibility for loan sales at the assigned territory including meeting loan volume and recruiting goals while achieving the highest standards of customer service.
Sales Managers also develop and maintain a thorough understanding of their assigned lending territory and market and carry out key accounts management.
In addition, managers recruit, interview, hire and train Account Executives, motivate Account Executives to achieve volume and customer service objectives.
Conduct field training and motivational programs.
REQUIREMENTS
Job Requirements:
Mortgage Industry experience required
5+ years sales experience working in a Wholesale residential lending environment, with 1+ years in a sales management capacity
Prefer experience managing a sales force of 2-5 Wholesale Account Executives with aggressive sales goals.
Must be closing a minimum of $3-5M sub-prime or 1-2M Hard money per month in own production
Ability to effectively accomplish aggressive sales objectives through a team of Account Executives/ Account Managers.
Extensive knowledge of Wholesale Loan origination, Wholesale Operations and the ability to bring extensive Broker relationships to the table.
The ability to recruit and retain top Mortgage Account Executives.
Responsibility for market share growth while maintaining established loan production in assigned area.
Must have Knowledge about "Hard Money" Loans
Hands on Wholesale origination experience and operational excellence with Sub-prime programs (with established relationships and market knowledge of Brokers who sell these types of programs in the community).
