Architectural Project Manager

Purpose: Position: Architectural Project Manager Location: Sacramento (Midtown)

Salary: $55K-$70K/yr DOE plus benefits package including a generous profit sharing plan, medical, dental and vision plans.

Five person design-oriented Architectural firm in practice since 1985 and specializing in Mixed-use, Multi-Family, Urban Design, Commercial and Retail projects actively seeks self motivated Architectural Project Manager to make immediate contribution to our Midtown Sacramento office.

Successful candidates for this Architectural Project Manager position will preferable have Bachelors degree from an accredited Architectural school, on track to obtain their California Architectural license, and a minimum of two years experience working with AutoCAD and Photoshop. Candidates must have the technical background and experience to prepare preliminary design presentation drawings, design development drawings, construction documents and perform building permit processing; and the ability to manage and prepare drawings for projects under the direction of an architect. Candidates with Architectural project experience pertaining to mixed-use, multi-family, and/or retail projects are preferred, but candidates with all types of project experience will receive serious consideration.

Job responsibilities for this Architectural Project Manager will include aiding in project coordination and completion from pre-liminary design development through construction administration while working with a Project Architect. As a Project Manager you will have some client, consultant, and contractor interaction responsibilities.

Our small firm typically focuses itself on handling projects include two to four stories of housing over street-front retail, lofts, and many types of multi-family projects typically in the range of 200-units per project, village centers, etc. We also occasionally perform architectural services for a few other building types including very custom residences, veterinary clinics and small office buildings.
