Account Manager - Southwest Region

Swarovski’s Crystal Components Business is seeking a talented, Account Manager to establish a presence in the Southwest Region of the United States of Contemporary Lighting Products and further support Project Business.
Within the policies and the business plan, the jobholder is responsible for generating sales and developing new customers through appropriate propositions, ethical business methods, and relevant internal liaison – optimizing the quality of service, business growth and customer satisfaction. Additionally, the jobholder is responsible for the constant maintenance of the Swarovski brand and image as well as upholding all policies and procedures within the organization.

This position will be based in our Los Angeles Showroom.

· Actively develop, plan and manage business portfolio/territory/business according to an agreed market development strategy.

· Develop new customer platform through sales – in the retailer market – offering products direct to retailers.
. Actively develop and interact with network of established architectural firms and interior designers in the west coast.
· Provide quotes to project owners, architects, interior designers and planners as needed.
· Offer lighting solutions to projects as needed.
· Educate client base/prospects on various lighting products including components for project business.
· Monitor and report “State of the Market” and competitor’s activities monthly.
· Use customer/prospect contact tools and systems – Saleslogix, SAP – update relevant information held in these system.
· Report weekly business activity to Sales Manager – including: new accounts, projects quoted (all), local market activities and next steps.
· Execute support of local market activities as agreed to timescales/budgets while integrating a personal sales effort to implement activity – product launches, marketing tools, pricing information.
· Actively develop list of all projects quoted, in progress and completed including total value of project.

REQUIREMENTS
· Minimum of five to seven years of sales experience in a comparable business-to-business environment.
· Proficient in Power Point, Excel, Adobe Illustrator.
· Ability to travel as job requires.
· Basic knowledge of Lighting Retail Market, Architectural/Interior Designer demands and needs.
· General knowledge of lighting systems and identifying the differences/similarities of fixtures/systems.
· Must have strong organizational and planning skills.
· Multi-language skills preferred.
· Basic knowledge of interpreting project plans and blueprints beneficial.
