ANALYST SR. NEW PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT

Functional Area: ProfessionalPosition Description: Manage full life cycle product development and implementation of new products and services on usairways.com, hpagentlink and corplink sites in order to enhance channel development and increase share of these low-cost vehicles. Develop, recommend, and implement strategic and marketing ideas based on revenue generation, general Internet trends, competitive action, site performance, and anticipation of future business opportunities. Create business requirements by working with various departments to coordinate design of products/services and define project scope/deliverables. Work closely with developers to resolve requirements issues and ensure requirements are being met. Manage product development process including the development of test cases and system and integration testing. Provide briefings and updates on all aspects of the project as needed; communicate and report the success, issues and progress status of the product to all stakeholders. Carries out regular system reporting and revenue performance reporting functions.
REQUIREMENTS
Education: High School Diploma/GEDExperience: Not IndicatedPosition Requirements: -Undergraduate degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training; MBA preferred
At least two years experience as a Business Analyst in an Internet or e-commerce environment
Experience in airline/travel industry
Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word, Access, and PowerPoint) and MS Project
Excellent planning and organization skills
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects and tasks within assigned deadlines
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Excellent analytical abilities
Strong market research knowledge
