Technical Writer/Business Analyst - (L-3 GSICJ23471)

Leverage your strong writing skills to grow into a proposal management role!

The successful candidate will: - Have strong technical writing and editing skills and experience in preparing proposal responses to federal government, preferably in the area of Information Technology services. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual to become trained in proposal coordination and management.

This position will support a business unit that provides Information Technology Services to government and DOD organizations. Responsibilities will include

Overseeing all aspects of the proposal process.

Producing proposal outlines.

Implementing proposal processes and standards.

Driving and managing the proposal schedule.

Ensuring adherence to quality standards.

Assisting in defining capture strategies, win themes, discriminators, and ensuring
these are adequately reflected in the proposal document.

Providing management and guidance to the proposal team.

Coordinating graphics and production.

Scheduling and running quality and red team reviews.

Providing writing assistance and editing of content as needed.

The ideal candidate will be a team player with a desire to learn and become a key contributor to the creation of successful proposals for large government procurements.

Requirements: Excellent experience/capabilities with Microsoft suite, graphics packages required. Experience with Virtual Proposal Center, automated opportunity tracking systems, and large scale publication/printing equipment is a plus.

Must have at least 5 years of related and progressive experience in business writing, preferably technical writing, as well as a Bachelor's degree in English or related.
