Sr. Proposal Writer

L-3 Communications Titan Group Enterprise IT Solutions Division has an opening for a Senior Proposal Writer within its Proposal Center Operations.We are seeking a project management subject matter expert (SME)/proposal writing specialist to support proposal development efforts. This individual will bring their expertise in the area of project management and past performance, their understanding/ability to document processes and write proposals, and will directly support proposal managers on proposals for the division. The candidate will develop proposal narrative (in the area of management, past performance, and other areas as requested) independently and through SME interviews. This person may, on occasion, be solely responsible for leading smaller efforts such as white papers, RFIs, and task orders. Specific duties will include: Lead/write volumes such as past performance or various sections of management Lead and support the creation and development of winning past performance and/or management solutions. Ensure that the solution framework is properly integrated, is compliant, and tells a discriminating story in the final proposal. Interface with subject matter experts to document solutions Interview operations personnel to gather key experience data, success stories, and discriminating accomplishments Contribute to strengthening L-3 Titans winning position during the pre-RFP phase by working closely with the Capture Team by participating in strategy sessions, and developing winning/viable approaches.Background required: 5+ years proposal development experience as a volume leader/writer of past performance and management. Proven track record of success in writing winning proposal narrative Excellent writing skills are a must. Can articulate complex concepts and processes orally and in writing Ability to work effectively with a broad range of people with a variety of technical skills & experience. Ability to react quickly in a rapidly changing environment. Must have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to communicate clearly. 2+ years experience required in the Federal Government Market.
