Spanish Curriculum Writer / Editor

Monotype, a full service editorial, design and production studio specializing in the development of K-12 educational products for print & web publishers, seeks experienced Spanish editor, translator and curriculum writers with expertise in primary reading, language arts, social studies, science and mathematics.

We are seeking candidates to write and translate English to Spanish as well as content edit student editions, teacher editions, and ancillary materials, which adhere to publisher guidelines and focus on grade level appropriateness.

The successful candidate must have:
Recent and significant editorial experience in educational publishing
Preferably primary reading
Degree in one of the content areas listed above
Teaching experience is a plus, and a familiarity with reading pedagogy is essential
Knowledge of InCopy is also helpful
