Senior Contracts Analyst - Temporary

Fortune 500 Company in Philadelphia Suburbs is seeking a Senior Contracts Analyst for a long term temporary assignment.

Candidate will be responsible for clinical investigator and vendor contracting functions for in-house department as well as other internal clients. Candidate will prepare drafts of contracts for non-disclosure and clinical study agreements, and will communicate comments regarding contract language and the status of agreements to internal clients and business partners in accordance with policies set forth by the law department. Candidate will administer a document-tracking database, including data entry and the generation of summary reports on agreement status.

Candidate will present such summary reports to internal clients in in-person meetings and assist contracts managers and attorneys with the review and negotiation of contracts. Candidate will manage the process and workflow of contracts, and will ensure the proper routing of documents for execution by the corporate officers. Candidate will make necessary recommendations on process improvement for clinical contracting. Candidate will also help advise and train other contracts analysts.

This position requires a BA/BS degree preferably in the Health/Science field. Candidate must have 2 ' 5 years of experience in the negotiation of clinical contracts. A paralegal certification from an ABA accredited paralegal program is desirable. Candidate must have a strong knowledge of contract, food and drug and intellectual property law, and possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Candidate must also possess excellent organizational, management, analytical and negotiation skills.
