Initial Security currently has open positions in the following locations:
- Metro Milwaukee (position includes going to sites outside of Milwaukee)


Day to Day Responsibilities

** This position is a full time position with the majority of hours worked in the Milwaukee area. This position includes traveling to Madison, Kenosha or Sheboygan when needed in an emergency. The employee would be compensated for travel**


-Controls the access of personnel, vehicles and materials on and off secured locations
-Patrols assigned areas to detect and/or deter unauthorized access
-Conducts inspections of security and fire fighting equipment
-Conducts inspections of post and inventory conditions to detect change
-Inspects fences, gates, windows, doors and skylights for security breaches
-Examines lights for working conditions and assures illumination is maintained at a level to accommodate the highest state of security
-Observes and reports safety hazards and unsafe practices during security rounds
-Makes recommendations for improving safety, security and control of property
-Demonstrates superior customer relations and presents a good image and appearance at all times
-Replies to inquiries in a manner that provides accurate information
-Maintains a friendly and professional demeanor
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be flexible on 2nd and 3rd shifts
- Must be willing to travel to Kenosha, Madison and Sheboygan for work
-Must have a valid drivers license
- Must have a reliable vehicle
- Computer skills (must be comfortable with Internet, and data entry)
- Ability to walk/stand for long periods of time
- outstanding communication skills (oral and written)
-H.S. diploma or GED
- At least 18 years of age
