Regional Trainer -- Multi-site Law Firm

Our client, a large, prestigious multi-office law firm is seeking a Regional Trainer based out of the Downtown Los Angeles office.

* Travel up to 50% may be required to support training functions in other West Coast region offices and North American offices as needed.

* Responsible for the following: Delivery of all software/technical training courses offered to Firm employees in both one-on-one and classroom situations, and contributing to the development of content for training courses.

* Identifying potential end-user concerns relating to new software packages and upgrades.

* Supporting the overall technology of the Firm and supplemental end-user troubleshooting and support when necessary.

* Participating in training efforts for firm-wide rollouts.

* Participating in projects, budgetary goals, and working closely with Firm management and peers to support the overall IS culture, strategy, policies and procedures, and specific team goals.

* Staying current with training trends and/or budgets; identifying and analyzing training needs; maintaining training records;

* providing monthly training reports; and successfully meeting timelines.

REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:

* 5-8 years training experience; strong software application training experience;

* training curriculum development;

thorough understanding of Microsoft Office Suite;

* proficient in document management systems and understanding of litigation support applications.


* Ability to travel, support other offices and meet overtime requirements, as necessary.

* Bachelor's Degree preferred, or 2 years experience in legal/corporate IS environment.

* Professional certifications a plus, i.e., Microsoft, ASTD, etc.
