North America Funded Programs Manager

Business Unit: GE Infrastructure, Oil & GasFunction: LegalResponsibilities: * Proactively explore and monitor funding opportunities to identify those in line with the company's medium-long term investment plan
Develop relationship with external funding entities and industry associations in order to influence allocation of funding programs, working in coordination with GE & GE Infrastructure organization
Recommend to the business new external funding ideas together with supporting business cases
Coordinate preparation of funding proposals/applications working with all the involved functions and managing relationships with the funding entities
Manage funded program activities coordinating the technical and accounting reporting and managing relationship with the funding entities
Monitor competitors' funded program activities for the countries of responsibility
Ensure compliance to all Integrity rules and laws
Develop rigorous processes to manage funded programs and to optimize resource utilization and document retention
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: * Must be educated to graduate level, an engineering discipline is preferred
Previous experience with procedures, tools and techniques of External Funding in North America
A strong network of contacts with North America external funding entities and related O&G industry associations, and with GE O&G organization and in the wider world of GE would be useful

Funding entities in turn have their own internal processes and rhythm, which most of the time are not aligned with GE's rhythm.
