In-House Commercial Licensing Attorney

Spherion Legal is seeking candidates for a Commercial Licensing Attorney for a prominent software company in Northern Virginia.

Responsibilities include: Review standard sales agreements and draft amendments to standard sales agreements; review and draft indirect channel agreements, both domestic and international; review and draft non-complex agreements including but not limited to nondisclosure agreements, assignment agreements and lease renewal agreements; work on a day-to-day basis with Finance and Sales teams to provide counseling on business and legal issues that arise during transactions.

REQUIREMENTS
J.D. from top tier law school and licensed in any jurisdiction; At least 3-5 years experience with law firm and/or in-house department; Experience with reviewing and drafting technology contracts; Experience with negotiating commercial contracts and service agreements; Basic understanding of revenue recognition guidelines for software.
