Import Entry Writer

We are conducting a search for an Import Customs Brokerage Supervisor that will be based in the Chicago (ORD), IL area.

Our client, a global leader in the freight forwarding, logistics and supply chain industry, is aggressively growing and looking for the talent to help give them a competitive advantage in their market space.

In this role, you will be responsible for day to day supervision of the customer service and import Customs Brokerage operations at the station facility. This is a supervisory position. Leadership, problem solving abilities, ability to implement processes and P&L will be key accountabilities to being successful.

Some of the things you will be involved in are identifying and improving service and operational issues including on-time delivery, warehouse operations efficiency, data entry that is accurate and timely, and how to serve the customer better.
REQUIREMENTS


You MUST have experience with Import Customs Brokerage service and operations activities as it relates to U.S. Customs entry classification, clearance, cartage, security, and freight movement, PC proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word), background of supervising entry writers, cartage drivers and warehouse handlers, customer service, accounting tasks such as trade payables and petty cash. Bachelors Degree highly preferred but not required.
