Maxim is currently seeking an experienced individual on a either a contractual basis or full time employment to develop user requested reports for several corporate systems running in a MS-SQL database. Currently, there is a backlog of upwards of 50 report request throughout our organization with new requests coming in each week.Responsibilities:
1. Report Writing

Design, develop, and deploy new reports for all corporate divisions.

Perform initial testing of reports and make modifications when necessary.

Participate in discussions with the customer along with assigned Business Analyst to clearly understand reporting needs.

Create SRS page with directory structure for reports.Essiential Skills:

Proven ability to create custom reports from a relational database.

Strong logical and conceptual data modeling experience

Knowledge of SQL syntax and query reporting tools.

Solid analytical skills.

Prior experience creating formulas, sub-reports, parameterized reports.

Ability to effectively communicate and interact with end users to understand requirements.

Familiar with standard database concepts, practices and procedures.

Some database design and database management skills.

Designing reports in SRS (MS SQL Reporting Services) would be a plus.Qualifications: Candidate with bachelor’s degree in Information Systems or related. 2-3 years experience with the above listed skills.
