Grants and Contract Officer

Grants and Contract Officer – The Connecticut Agricultural Experiment Station is seeking an energetic, experienced and highly motivated individual for the position of Grant Officer. The person will be responsible for the expansion and administration of the Station’s extramural grant program. The person will locate new funding sources for current Station research initiatives; complete, coordinate and submit grant proposals to federal and state agencies as well as private industries and foundations; review and monitor awarded grants for conformance with federal and state regulations, timetables, grantee terms and conditions, and reporting requirements; coordinate, prepare and monitor sub-contracting agreements with other research institutions; coordinate, prepare and submit quarterly, semi-annual and annual progress and financial reports.
