Smart and Associates has an incredible opportunity for an ambitious and career-driven Forensic Accountant/Litigation Support Senior Consultant or Manager. Candidate will also take part in supervising, developing and mentoring staff. There will be a definite track to Manager and Partner level if candidate desires and can effectively demonstrate strong client service and development skills. The successful candidate will possess established experience in public accounting/consulting, the ability to consistently provide accurate work and strong communication/organization skills.

As a Forensic Accountant/Litigation Support Senior Consultant your will perform forensic accounting and fraud investigations as followsl:
Work with attorneys and clients on engagements
Perform detailed fact finding and research and analysis
Develop computer models including detailed and potentially complex spreadsheet analysis
Supervise and conduct data gathering activities including document review and supervision, and quality control of data entry activities
Supervise appropriate personnel including Consultants, client personnel, clerical support, and others as appropriate
Be responsible for engagement planning
Prepare client communications for senior level review
Coordinate administrative functions including time tracking and bill preparation
Determine economic damages in the context of commercial litigation and dispute resolution
Prepare expert witness reports based on the results of financial analyses and investigations
Perform Background investigations
Job Requirements
Travel Percentage: 0%
Degree in Accounting
CPA Designation Preferred
CFE credential, or desire to obtain
3 to 5+ years prior work experience in public accounting and/or financial advisory consulting with a quality firm
Prior experience in forensic accounting and/or fraud investigations
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interest or experience in the legal environment and financial investigations
Excellent problem solving and project management skills, the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously under the pressure of deadlines, strong attention to detail, tact, and diplomacy and ability to maintain client confidences.
