Contracts Specialist-Arlington (304651)

Lockheed Martin Information Technology-Professional Services, is looking for a Contracts/Procurement Specialist to assist/advise government client processing & funding direct commercial contracts between international customers and U.S. Industry. Responsibilities include administering and auditing payment processes and adjudicating supplier/ purchaser disputes. Duties will also include assisting government personnel in interpreting and developing acquisition policies/guidelines and drafting correspondence. This is a full-time position. Position is located in the Crystal City Complex, Arlington, VA; metro, VRE, and parking available. REQUIREMENTS
US citizen with current Department of Defense Secret clearance. Candidate must have a familiarity of procurement regulations, including FAR, DFARS, and FEDLOG. Must possess quality MS Office Suites (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Lotus Notes skills. Past experience (3+ years) in international program support desired. Ability to work in a multi-task environment required. Must be able to quickly understand policy/procedural guidance and be able to work with minimal supervision. Knowledge of Arms Export Control Act and International Security Assistance regulations and policies a plus. Education: Bachelor Degree or work experience in related field required.
