Works closely with MDS Finance, Operational Units, Legal Counsel, Proposal and Business Development Department.Major Responsibilities:Drafts and negotiates individual Agreements and Change Orders.Participates in the review of Master and Global Agreements for late phase research for the protection of Company rights.Coordinates comments and responses to Sponsor Agreements.Communicates directly with Sponsor during the Contract negotiation process.Reviews and provides input from a contracting perspective into preparation and presentation of MDS budgets into Sponsor format.Identifies key areas of Agreements that require legal review.Evaluate contracts for financial accuracy against budget and assure best available cash flow throughout the program.Performs second review of contracts and change orders for quality, accuracy, and consistencyEnsures that documents being sent to clients are accurate and properly reflect costs and appropriate language that is consistent with the study parameters.Participate in Business Development Transition Meetings.Leads Contract Implementation Meetings for assigned projects.Liaison with sub-contractors and vendors regarding contract services and Service Agreements.Responsible for special projects assigned by Director, ContractsQualifications:BS/BA/MA degree.
