Under the administrative supervision of the Director of Campus Safety and the functional supervision of the Lead Officer, the Officer provides service and protection to the people and property of the College through the enforcement of federal, state, and local laws, and College rules and regulations. Provides community service to the campus community through patrols, program development, and public assistance. Requirements include an AA degree in Criminal Justice or related field (experience as a sworn law enforcement official maybe considered in lieu of the AA degree); a valid drivers license; and prior experience in security, law enforcement, or community policing will be considered. Normal hours are 3:00pm-11:00pm. Workdays are flexible, including weeknights and weekends (May also include snow days and holidays).
