Our Client, a highly reputable and stable Fortune 1000 Company, is seeking a Director, Network & Telecommunications.

You will be responsible for the corporate voice and data network infrastructure as well as several call centers in a 24x7x365 environment.

Individual Responsibilities:
The Director of Network Operations is responsible for defining the vision and operational plans, coordinating the project priorities and managing the day to day operations of the network and telecom team.

• Direct and manage day to day network and telecommunication operations including servers, messaging, storage, call center technology and the WAN infrastructure
• Develop business justifications and cost/benefit analyses
• Develop and implement all voice and network operations policies and procedures
• Assist in negotiation and administration of vendor, outsourcer, and consultant contracts and service agreements
• Design and implement short- and long-term strategic plans to make certain that voice and network capacity meets existing and future requirements
• Manage and ensure optimal operation of all voice, network hardware, and equipment, including Windows servers, Active Directory, Unix, Messaging, cellular, VOIP, PBX’s, voice mail, CTI, ACD, routers, switches, hubs, firewalls, etc.
• Assess, recommend and administer all equipment, hardware, and software upgrades
• Implement best practices and policies
• Manage assets including maintenance of voice and network component inventory and related documentation
• Administer user accounts, permissions, and access rights
REQUIREMENTS


Job Requirements:
• 10+ Years of managerial experience reporting to upper level management team.
• Experience managing network and telecommunication equipment in a highly available environment
• Call center network and telecommunication experience
• In depth understanding of networks
• Understanding of voice and data telecommunications in a call center environment
• Proven project management skills including the ability to concurrently manage several projects
• Process and detail-oriented with a strong sense of responsibility, follow-through, initiative, and assertiveness
• ITIL certification preferred
• PMP certification preferred
• Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley and PCI compliance
• 4 Year college degree preferred
