Legal Firm Administrator

Our client, a Clayton legal firm, is looking for a firm administrator to join their management team. Our client offers excellent benefits, a salary commensurate with your experience and potential, and a great work environment. Responsibilities: Provide general office management for mid-sized law firm. Primary duties include supervising 40 employee support staff (secretaries, legal assistants, clerks, accounting and IT support staff) and overall oversight of firm’s day-to-day operations. Specific areas of responsibility include: •Creating and implementing employee policies, including FMLA administration •Managing process for hiring new staff •Managing day-to-day personnel issues, including yearly performance reviews •Coordinating and overseeing employee benefit programs (supplied by vendors) •Coordinating and general oversight of IT and accounting function •Managing general facilities issues •Providing strategic planning for firm and its personnel •Supporting firm's marketing efforts •Managing all day-to-day office issues and special projects (e.g., office expansion, firm events, etc.). REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications •Bachelor Degree •Working knowledge of employment laws, including FMLA and Wage and Hour •3 to 5 Years HR experience •Ability to effectively manage staff •Ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization •Excellent organizational skills •Effective written and oral communication skills •Ability to maintain confidentiality •Ability to work independently •Leadership strengths, ability to translate vision into action plans and then take responsibility for delivery •General accounting and budgeting experience preferred •IT experience preferred •Law firm experience preferred.
