Traffic Assistant
Provides support services to the Supervisor, Traffic. Monitor and maintain inventory of all collateral materials and promotional items. Maintains accurate file of current collateral material. Opens job tickets and processes to appropriate writer/artist. Monitors job status, follows up with client, and ensures project meets required deadline Assists with purchase order and invoice entry into the Clients & Profits software system.REPRESENTATIVE JOB DUTIES:Monitor and maintain inventory of all collateral materials and promotional items. Manage the database of inventory in stock. Track usage of materials in inventory and reorder appropriate quantities to keep adequate inventory in stock. Obtain approvals for reordering of stock and process necessary changes to piece. Maintain accurate file of current collateral material.Opens job tickets and processes to appropriate writer/artist. Monitors job status, follows up with client, and ensures project meets required deadline Upon receipt of printed samples, closes out job tickets, releases pieces to inventory and enters into the inventory system.Assist with purchase order and invoice entry into the Clients & Profits software system.Conduct administrative maintenance functions of department, including telephone response, mail processing, faxing, filing, reports, errands, delivery coordination and occasional text input. Coordinate conference room schedule. Greet and direct visitors. Maintain office supplies. Process requests for business cards and nametags. This includes processing request forms, contacting vendors, reviewing proofs, and providing copy approval.

Perform other duties as assigned.QUALIFICATIONS:Minimum Education and Experience:
High school diploma or GED equivalent
2 years of experience in an administrative or secretarial role supporting multiple functions, or comparable production/traffic for an advertising agency or corporate communications department.
Preferred Education, Additional Qualifications and Experience:
Proficiency in a variety of word processing, graphic and spreadsheet software on a Macintosh platform.
Proofreading and grammar skills.
