Sr. Capital Buyer

Senior level Buyer to oversee all buying activities associated with placing P.O.'s, negotiations, and monitoring of costs for tools and equipment needs on new and existing capital projects. This "temporary" position could become "Perm" since it has already been approved to be transitioned as such for the "right candidate".
REQUIREMENTS
Must have at least eight years of sourcing and procurement experience in a manufacturing environment, including significant specialized commodity experience in all types of capital buying (equipment, production systems, tooling and stamping dies, etc).....AND evidence of program management responsibility. Will need past experience working on new product development teams. Bachelor's degree, excellent communication, analytical and negotiating skills required as well as having the ability to work in various environments and cultures throughout North America.
