When working with
Quintiles Laboratories, sponsors get standardized implementation, analytical testing, and database development and transfer. We have a rewarding opportunity in our Atlanta facility for a Specimen Management Inventory Associate. Must be able to work 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, 3pm to 11:30pm.
Responsibilities:

Maintain incoming frozen specimens by monitoring the quality and quantity of specimens received.

Accession specimen management requisitions.

Sort incoming specimens for testing or storage for future shipping.

Ensure that all shipments incoming and outgoing meet Sponsor requirements, OSHA, 49CFR Requirements and IATA Regulations.

Assist with routine freezer maintenance.

willing to work constantly out of -80C freezers providing inventory support of high volume frozen tube inventory.

Coordinate specimen distribution and worksheets to laboratory departments.

Assist with other tasks related to the support of on-going protocols at the request of the department manager, department supervisor, or other lab personnel

Perform other duties as required.
Minimum Requirements:

High School Diploma

1-2 years in a Speciman-processing environment a plus.

Experience in Specimen Management or accessioning preferred

Ability to lift 50 lbs.

Good communication skills

Basic knowledge of computer skills
