September 14: Materials Planner / Inventory Control Planner

My client is an manufacturer of electromechanical equipment that is sold worldwide. They are looking for a materials planner who will plan and coordinate the global allocation of finished products, both manufactured and purchased, into distribution centers worldwide, using established forecasts and customer orders.Coordinate within the team to establish and maintain an effective forecast and inventory control systemProduce and analyze statistical informationFollow a plan to achieve specified goalsCoordinate the process flow for goods to be returnedPurchase invoice verification and controlEvaluate delivery performance, inventory movements and valuations
REQUIREMENTS


Bachelors degree or equivalent experience. Experience with inventory planning and control, especially with companies that distribute products worldwide, is preferred. Strong analytical ability, strong customer focus a must. Should have good skills using a computer for spreadsheets and reports. Working knowledge of SAP or other ERP system, and MS Excel, MS Office, MS Project, and MRP required. Minimum 3-5 years logistics experience in a planner function in distribution or manufacturing, preferably in an international organization.
