Sales/Territory Manager

Interstate Steel Company, a division of National Material L.P., is a premier national distributor of flat rolled steel, focusing on the critical requirements of users in the automotive, applicant, building products, and office furniture industries.

We are looking for a highly motivated and dynamic individual with strong sales and relationship skills to join our team as a Territory Manager. This sales position will be responsible for developing new business that fits our sales and marketing strategy, relationship building, quotation development, claims resolution, development, analysis, and management of a customer inventory program, as well as ongoing forecasting and budgeting.
REQUIREMENTS
Requirements

Experience - Minimum 2-6 years applicable experience in an outside sales or marketing position. Candidate would also have a minimum of 2 years experience in direct account management. Must have knowledge and experience selling cold rolled, galvanized, and prepainted steel in a service center environment. Account equity is a bonus.

Skills – Excellent verbal, written communication, compute and presentation skills. Goal oriented, self-starter with proven record of success.
