Summary of Position (Job Purpose)
Allocate merchandise in a timely manner using JDA Advance Allocation and JDA MMS

Work with Merchandise, Planning, and Logistics for timely flow of merchandise

Allocate merchandise to meet Promotional/Advertising PlansPrincipal Duties and Responsibilities

Allocate a specified assortment of merchandise as determined by the Director of Allocation (annual volume greater than 300 M Units)

Communicate effectively with other departments within the organization

Maintain balanced inventory levels in all Distribution Centers and Retail Locations

Replenish items not managed by automated store replenishment

Team Leadership

Mentor and train allocation team members

Participate in development and testing of system enhancementsMinimum Requirements/Qualifications
General merchandise, store, and planning experience desired

Competency with MS Office (primarily Excel and Access) and AS400 environment

Strong written and oral communication skills

Knowledge of Allocation and
Replenishment “Best Practices”

Strong analytical skillsDesired Qualifications
Experience with current retail enterprise, planning, allocation and replenishment software, specifically JDA
Advance Allocation and JDA MMS

College degree

2-3 years using allocation and replenishment applications

Other significant retail experience or operations experience such as Logistics,
Merchandise Planning or Buying
