Annual Salary Range: $29,000 to $41,600
REQUIREMENTS
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience:3-5 years purchasing experience, or with bachelor’s degree, 2 min. years purchasing experience required.Experience in the areas of raw material procurement; casting and machining procurement; plastic injected molding procurement, outside processing; and close tolerance machine parts sourcing.Experience should encompass purchasing assignments of complex nature including processing requisitions, product research, long-term contract negotiation and implementation of cost saving projects.Successful management of assigned supplier cost, quality and delivery performance.Skills Required:Excellent written and verbal communication skillsEfficient in Microsoft OfficeMust be a quick learnerBe able to work well in a team environmentKnowledge of commonly-used Purchasing concepts, practices, and proceduresMust be able to read and understand blueprints and specifications and some knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and TolerancingBilingual English/ Spanish preferredAttitude & Abilities:Detail oriented and capable of working in a fast pace environment.Able to multi-task and prioritize while receiving direction from multiple sources.Able to work successfully in a team environment to accomplish company goals.Able to maintain a positive attitude under stressful conditions.
