Production / Inventory Control Specialist

The position will receive direction from the Purchasing Agent and the Production Planner, provide acquisition, materials management, and manufacturing support, including generation and tracking of RFQ’s and requisitions, WIP status, inventory cycle counts, and expediting. This is a hands-on position which will require significant time on the manufacturing floor, strong multitasking skills, ability to prioritize and follow through on daily tasks (not a desk job). Requirements:

Qualifications will include a minimum of three years in a manufacturing or distribution/warehouse environment, exposure to purchasing and materials management, computer proficiency, and a High School Diploma (or GED). Vantage, MRP/ERP, shipping/receiving, blue print reading, product routing, and ISO experience is desired. Basic knowledge of Excel will be assessed through skill evaluations. Ability to prioritize, follow through while seeking additional tasks is crucial for success in this role.
