Production & Inventory Control Manager

ACCO Brands Corporation, one of the world's largest suppliers of branded office products, with annual revenues of nearly $2 billion, is seeking a Production & Inventory Control Manager who is responsible for developing the master production plan that is aligned to the SBU inventory strategy and customer service goals. This position holds the following duties and responsibilities but is not limited to these:

1. Review of plant capacity and production run quantities that meet inventory and service goals.

2. Review inventory safety stock levels that meet inventory and service objectives.

3. Provide plant representation in corporate sales, marketing and operations meetings.

4. Plant representation for product availability/service concerns.

5. Review opportunities to improve inventory composition and reduce/eliminate obsolete and slow moving inventory.

REQUIREMENTS
Education:

College degree in a business related field. APICS certification is desirable.

Experience:

3-5 years within operations, inventory control or materials management field. Understanding of MRP systems. Working knowledge of Manugistics and Oracle is desirable but not required.

Skills:

Strong analytical skills, communication skills (both written and verbal), and a demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast paced changing team environment.
