Production Control Manager/ Semiconductor Equipment

Our client is a successful semiconductor equipment manufacturing company based in Arizona. We are looking for an individual with strong operational skills who has the drive and ambition to handle this demanding job.


Responsibilities:
The Production and Inventory Control Manager will work for the Director of Operations and be responsible for Production Control and Logistics activities. To accomplish defined work, the manager will oversee the following efforts:
•Master scheduling of production from the Planning Forecast, Marketing Specification, and Engineering Specification.
•Running MRP for the benefit of all users including purchasing.
•Tracking of ECOs to assure that shipped systems utilize the latest designed parts.
•Cooperate with Marketing and Engineering to establish cost effective disposition of material when switching over to newer designs.
•Develop Planning BOMs in cooperation with Sustaining Engineering and Development Engineering.
•Do shop floor control-planning in conjunction with Manufacturing Supervisor.

Compensation:
Base Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 (DOE)

REQUIREMENTS
•BS in Engineering, Industrial Management, or related discipline.
•At least ten years experience in Production Planning.
•Some supervisory experience.
•Five years experience in hi-tech industrial control.
•Experience managing multi-functional teams to solve problems.
•Several years experience with a “full blown MRP system.”
•Skilled with computers including Excel and SAP.
•CVD manufacturing equipment knowledge preferred.
•Accounting knowledge.
