Powell Electronics Inc is looking for a skilled buyer who is able to be responsible for the management of company product lines to maximize sales and margin goals. Must be able to manage the development and review the overall inventory levels. Managing price quotes to ensure maximum gross profits is essential. Able to participate in overall product strategy and act as technical adviser to our sales personnel. Must possess the talent to evaluate market requirements and manage the day-to-day progress of product lines and recommend inventory level changes.POWELL ELECTRONICS is an established electronics parts distributor offering a competitive compensation and benefits package including 401k matching program, medical, dental and life insurance benefits, as well as incentive potential with successful growth in this position.
REQUIREMENTS
Experience in production planning and purchasing within a manufacturing or distribution environment
Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management training is strongly desired
SAP order entry and/or electronics distribution experience helpful
