Powertrain Controls Software Development/Validation Speciali

We are currently seeking a Powertrain Controls Software Development and Validation Specialist who will design, develop and execute software validation plans to verify and validate embedded codes created for automotive and commercial vehicles while simultaneously acting as an analyst, test process improvement specialist, and an agent for change within the customer's software development organization; Assist systems and development engineers in the development of control systems software codes; Create and deploy a Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) development process improvement plan capable of bringing HIL development and test capabilities to a standard of execution and performance suitable for advanced automotive electronics; Coach existing and future software personnel in the upgraded HIL processes; Coordinate HIL process improvement plans and activities with Software Process Improvement personnel and broader plans.~cb~
REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will have a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or Software Engineering with a minimum of five years experience with HIL tools and methods, and at least two years pf hands-on experience with tools and methods used for Software Development, Verification and Validation. The candidate will have experience in embedded coding, C and C++, for Powertrain applications; Must possess and be able to clearly convey a vision for high-performance and high-efficiency embedded software development, verification and validation; Excellent written and verbal communication skills, particularly oral and presentation; Leadership skills are essential in order to be successful as an agent-for-change.
