As a Procurement Assistant B, you will research, purchase, and manage inventory on a daily basis and with state of the art technology. You also will build strong working relationships with vendors and other inter-company departments. The job encompasses: replenishing inventory on a daily basis, arranging bulk and package pick up/delivery, maintaining material cost and freight rate information, managing inventory, and serving as a source of information for Ashland sales representatives and customer service representatives.

To qualify, you will need the following:
* High school diploma or equivalent
* 2 years Distribution/Logistics and Materials Management experience
* Computer skills (Excel and SAP)
* MRP knowledge desired
* Strong math skills
* Excellent communication (written & verbal) skills
* Ability to work independently and in a fast paced environment
* Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States
