Material Planner

Reports to:Job Summary:
Material Planners are responsible for analyzing MRP requirements and creating purchase requisitions that support both on time delivery and inventory goals.Responsibilities to Include:
Works closely with Purchasing, Production Control, and Receiving Inspection to insure material availability to support the production floor.
Manages shelf life components, engineering changes, and supports Engineering for material requests.A Textron Company
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors degree desired.Position Requirements:
5 - 7 years of Material and/or Production planning experience required.
Planning/MRP, Production and Inventory Control, and Purchasing knowledge preferred.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, Excellent attention to detail, Ability to multi-task.
SAP experience preferred.License and Certification Requirements:
APICS CPIM desired
