LOSS PREVENTION MANAGER - Carson, CA TRANS WORLD ENTERTAINMENT is THE leading specialty retailer of music, video and video game products. We are seeking a Loss Prevention Manager to oversee our distribution center in Carson, CA and ensure compliance with corporate loss prevention standards. The Loss Prevention Manager is responsible for the physical security of assigned facility(s), the protection of company assets, and the safety of its associates and visitors, supervising the daily operations of Loss Prevention Associates, including but not limited to the assignment of tasks, development of investigations, audit results, incident/accident review. The Loss Prevention Manager is responsible for the recruitment, hiring and scheduling of Loss Prevention Associates. Conducts training for both new hires and development of existing staff. Administers physical and life safety systems. Additional duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will have 3 – 5 year solid supervisory experience with demonstrated success as a Loss Prevention Manager. Required: strong computer, investigative and business writing skills; a working knowledge of database and spreadsheet programs; strong MS Access, Word, Excel, and Outlook skills. The candidate must be able to independently organize and prioritize tasks with the flexibility to change priorities as required. An Associate’s degree or Bachelor’s degree, military service or law enforcement experience strongly preferred. Bilingual English – Spanish a plus.
