Logistics Manager/Operations Manager

Patent Construction Systems a division of Harsco Corporation, a leading supplier of all types of scaffolding, concrete shoring and formwork products for major commercial construction and industrial maintenance is seeking an Operations Manager for our Harrisburg Branch. The successful candidate will manage all functions within Patent’s Yard and Warehouse operations related to the supervision and development of warehouse staff, and the safe and efficient operation of the yard and warehouse, including both processing and distribution activities.

REQUIREMENTS
Responsibilities include: Management and direction of yard & warehouse employees, shipping rental equipment to construction and industrial sites, receiving rental equipment returns, and inventory of equipment.
Logistics and Transportation management, inventory control, facility maintenance and safety management.
A college degree is preferred but not required. A minimum of two years transportation, logistics and warehouse management experience is necessary. Good communication and computer skills are essential. This position requires a self-starter with demonstrated leadership and problem solving competencies.
