Inventory Specialist (Warehouse)

To add to our team of talented people, we are currently seeking an Inventory Specialist for our Salt Lake City, Utah location.
The responsibilities of this role include:
Compiles and maintains records of quantity, type, and value of material, equipment, merchandise, and/or supplies stocked in establishment and/or items to be returned.
Other duties include (but are not limited to):
Sorts units from final test by verifying correct serial number and ensuring zero cosmetic defects.
Verifies, formats, and prints the return to vendor reports.
May create a barcode listing for each section of packaged items and sort items by manufacture warranty.
Maintains an accurate inventory count of ready to pack and ready to return to vendor items by performing daily physical counts and automated inventory transactions and adjustments as necessary.
Stage pallets of completed items from the production floor to be moved into the warehouse.
Maintains an accurate inventory count of all product(s) warehoused on daily, weekly and/or monthly format as required.
Ensures that all finished goods are brought into inventory.
Formats and provides daily and weekly WIP/Inventory status reports, as appropriate.
Assists supervisor with all inventory replenishment reports, inventory interactions with other departments and vendors.
Verifies daily inventory levels and prepare ‘available’ versus ‘on hand’ finished good inventory report.

job Requirements
Minimum qualifications to be considered are:
Highschool diploma or GED; and 6 months of related experience.
SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence and to present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and employees of the organization.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
